Children love balloon animals.  Balloon animals are quite simple: they’re just long balloons tied off into shapes vaguely resembling an animal.  They are often brightly-colored.  They will pop after an hour or so, which often makes the children sad.

Another thing clowns do at the fairground is clown face painting.  Clown will paint your face to make you look like a clown yourself.  They will paint your face white, first, with a red outline around your mouth to complete the clown illusion.

Children should be careful, though.  If a crazy clown paints your face, who knows what you’ll wind up looking like!  Crazy clowns might look like normal clowns, but they’ll be more mischievous.  These sorts of lovable scamps might well tie your shoelaces together or one might bend down to allow another to push you down.

Though clown face painting is usually a child’s favorite part of a trip to the circus, games are a big attraction as well.  Game booths usually contain one of several traditional staples.  Ring toss, water-pistol races, and bottle toss are all old standbys.  These booths are usually manned by clowns.  Children always love the prizes they win from booths that clowns run.

You need to be careful, though, because if a crazy clown paints your face, you’re liable to look like a crazy clown yourself!  Although, crazy clowns don’t look very different from normal clowns, the differences are there.  A crazy clown, for instance, is often less predictable than his sane clown brethren.

All things considered, though, clown face painting is definitely the big draw at the circus.  Children love clown face painting.  They can get their faces painted like anything they like.  A favorite sports team or favorite animal; children can even get their faces painted to look like a clown.  Face painting is essential to the circus.  Not only is it fun for the children to do at the time, but it serves as a reminder for the rest of the day just what an excellent time the whole family had at the circus.  Save for the occasional crazy clown who paints your face weird, clown face painting is fun for the whole family
